Hi, I’m Bicas, 23, an art director who treats food like a love language and selfies like a sport. I live in Lisbon now, but I once lived in Madrid, where I learned that siestas are underrated and that dinner at 10 p.m. makes perfect sense.
I get excited about both fancy restaurants and taverns with paper tablecloths, and once I fall for a dish, it’s for life. My camera roll is mostly food and selfies, and I’m fine with that.
I spent two months traveling across South America with a backpack, broken Spanish and questionable navigation skills. I came back tired, happy and convinced that asking for a beer with confidence works better than any dictionary.
Art direction found me by accident, and it became my way of organizing the chaos of ideas and my obsession with colors and images. I don’t have a five-year plan, I just keep creating, learning and trying not to take it all too seriously.
